Small Business of the Year

The Small Business of the Year Award was established in 2001 to celebrate businesses that give back to the community. Click the button below to nominate a for-profit organization with 40 or fewer employees, based in Lee, Collier or Charlotte County.


SWFL Citizen of the Year

Presented by the Naples Daily News and the News-Press Media Group, this award recognizes an outstanding individual who has demonstrated strong commitment and dedication to the betterment of SWFL over the past 12 months. This award recipient is selected by a panel of previous recipients, but nominations are being accepted through September 18 for consideration.


Distinguished Volunteer Award

This award, previously the Pat Lord Award, honors an individual who consistently goes above and beyond volunteering their time and talents to the SWFL community. Can be a resident of Lee, Collier or Charlotte County.

Nonprofit of the Year

We are thrilled to introduce the inaugural Nonprofit of the Year Award, created to celebrate a nonprofit organization in Lee, Collier or Charlotte County that is a leader in the nonprofit sector, and the mission of which improves quality of life in Southwest Florida.


Innovation Award

This all-new award celebrates a business based in Lee, Collier or Charlotte County that creates unique and forward-thinking solutions that address the needs of its clients, such as designing original products, programs or processes.


INCredible Award

This award recognizes a graduate of either the Leadership SWFL or Impact SWFL program who exemplifies the values of those programs by demonstrating leadership, community stewardship and a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
